The older she gets the more she wants out. At nightime she sometimes stays out all night...and gets into fight after fight. She goes to the doors and scratches and scratches and scratches until she drives me nuts! I made the mistake of letting her out once. Now she thinks if she scratches long enuf I'll put her out...she's wrong! But how do I stop the insessent scratching???

Put some double sided tape where she scratches. Ignore her when she scratches. Squirt her with water when you catch her doing it.

You are now the proud owner of an outdoor cat. Get a cat door. Then she can come and go as she likes. You may take the cat out of the outdoors, but you will never take the outdoors out of the cat. Once they get the taste for the outside, you are fighting a losing battle.

Give her lots of toys to distract her. Try videos for cats viewing. Make a spot for her to sit and watch out a window. I am happy to hear you care enough to keep her in and away from the dangers outside. Just be persistant and she will soon get over it.
