the only time mormons are right is when they turn around to leave your property!

The more correct question would be - Do you think the LDS DOCTRINE is right? Because there are so many versions of what people know of "mormons"...
And yes, through witness from the Holy Ghost, and confirmation of prayer, I know without a doubt what the LDS church teaches is the most complete and true religion on the earth.

Messenger - Divided house??? What are you talking about?

whynotaskdon - you then must not believe:
In God, the Eternal Father
In Jesus Christ
In Morality
In Honesty
In obeying the commandments
In the Bible
just a few things we believe - and you claim nothing we believe is correct...

What you believe is yours.

Do I believe that the Mormons are right. No. I studied for three years, I know their beliefs and customs, but I did not believe.

Ask any Mormon if they believe Joseph Smith was a prophet? Or that the book of Mormon is from God? You will find that Mormon believe in their prophets as you do yours.

Belief has no right or wrong. It is based on something that has been revealed but can be observed. You either belief it or you don't.

Answers: Obviously Mormon believe they are right. You may or may not believe that they are right. What I believe does not matter. Remember your beliefs are yours.

I gave in the source an on line version of the book of Mormon. Reading it might help you to understand what you believe.

I will ask you a question -- when Cortez landed in Mexico, the native peoples did not fight - or run away. Why was that?

What, you don't rememember what you learned in history class? The people who lived in Mexico - as well as people all throught the Americas, had a belief that they were visited way back over a 1000 years before by a white g-d who was surrounded by glowing light.

This is true -- this is what the native people believed; this is what their stories told by everyone said. There is no question about that, whether you believe in the LDS church or not.

Don't any of you find it curious to see the parallels to the Book of Mormon? How can you all be so sure that it is fake, when faced with the facts of history?

In that answer you gave to the question about bashing Mormons:
Next time, try using facts (instead of urban legends) to defend your position.

Married to a Morman for 12yrs..Probably the best church and social organization I've encountered as well as some of the most interesting and cool people..They are 100% sincere in their beliefs..but spiritually, I believe they are 100% wrong, and should not give in to the "persecution" complex, but should study the Bible more for their answers...

initially dude, congrats on turning out to be to be a member of the church and welcome to the fold. Secondly, it is going to likely be straight forward on your readers (this suggestion will help you in the direction of the the remainder of your existence, distinctly in school) in case you utilize the macro format on your writing. smash up that huuuuge paragraphs into a number of small ones so human beings won't only seem at your questions and not even situation analyzing them, like I very almost did. Thirdly, to respond to your question, you're good some lot of what you mentioned. that's greater valuable to attend till you're married for intercourse, and yeah maximum adolescents won't have the ability to handle this sort of restrictive relationships. the biggest piece of advice i'm going to offer is that relationships can start up forming once you're that age, however the wonderful ingredient to do is wait till you're the two a minimum of 18 to start a greater severe courting. i might desire to assert you do sound very mature on your age, so i've got faith you will no longer have too a lot hardship. for my area, relationships that age are only stupid, yet that is coming only from my very own experience. stay acquaintances, yet draw a line. as quickly as that line is drawn, then neither of you're able to alter into at a loss for words on the grounds which you the two understand your limits and you recognize the plan. stay actual to God, your loved ones, your faith, and to a minimum of one yet another.

I'm with Esther. Mormonism is a wacky religion. I mean, all religions have their silly aspects (virgin birth, for example), but Mormonism goes above and beyond. I cannot take Mormons seriously.

Although I honestly believe that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, I cannot agree with the LDS faith. I was married to a member for 10 years and think that most of what they believe is PHOOEY.

Well for one I know the LDS faith is right. I also think that any one who would open up their heart and mind would get the same confirmation from the Holy Ghost themselves.
