I took Paxil for 10 years or so, and I stopped taking it for a week because I joined a medication study where they were trying out Seroquel as a treatment for Major Depression. I was basically okay, but my boss sent me an email that p***** me off and I just blew up and slammed the mouse on my desk and broke it, I also had some crying spells, but for the most part, I was all right.

My daughter was on Paxil (20 mg.), which wasn't a high dose. She was on it about 5 months and then I started weaning her off of it myself because it was causing her some major problems. I decreased by 5 mg. per day, every 5 days until she was off completely. She had no bad side effects whatsoever from doing it this way. But 20 mg. is considered a fairly low dose anyway.
I am glad you are under a doctor's supervision. I didn't trust my daughter's doctor or her psychologist to know what was best for her anymore and that is why I weaned her myself. I don't regret it, because she is doing much better taking vitamin supplements instead.

I was prescribed Paxil for Social Anxiety Disorder and Depression, at one time. I didn't recommend it to my friends, because of the 'weening' part. I ended up dropping the meds about three months after starting them. I didn't find they worked, although, to some, it may work for them.

adventure with others taking it, which incorporates the ingredient-outcomes you point out, plus the assumption (extremely memory) dissociation characteristic of this SSRI and others. people who take those generally sound like Marcel Proust -- in basic terms a flow of understanding comes out of their mouths. There are substantial sexual ingredient outcomes with Paxil to boot (loss of libido, particularly). As you will locate from this, i for my section do not in basic terms like the SSRI's. as quickly as prescribed a Paxil cousin (Prozac) I got here very close to to a suicide attempt -- saved by the reality that my Paris window substitute into too small to bounce out! My advice is you ask your wellbeing practitioner a pair of drugs i've got used with some achievement. 'Buspar", it incredibly is an anti-stress, incredibly than so-observed as anti-depressant, and has few if any ingredient-outcomes to boot as not being habit-forming, and requiring no "petering out" era to renounce. Buspar is likewise much less reactive with different drugs (which incorporate alcohol). sturdy success inclusive of your condition and sleep. BTW, you are able to attempt a pair of aspirin while the 'panic assaults' initiate. i've got for my section stumbled on that this could help severely, combating the "avalanche", so as to talk.
