My theory is that we are all RIGHT on the topic of what happens when you die. Atheists, christians, muslims, etc. are destined to become exactly what they have come to believe. It all makes perfect sense. We are all so busy arguing our case when I happen to believe the truth lies with each of us on an individual level. Does anyone else feel this could be a reasonable thought?

Yeah, sure... if that makes you happy.

I prefer reality. Dead is dead.

Is that even logically possible? I don't think so. Almost all the beliefs about the afterlife are at odds with each other in some way. In places where they contradict each other, they can't all be right. To insist that all contradictory positions are equally right would amount to a negation of truth and logic.

My theory is that we are all wrong and that it is impossible to know the true answer. Whatever we can come up with about what happens after death the truth will be stranger. So we shouldn't waste our time worrying about it, rather spend time living a life which you would love to live again..

I believe that some people are arrogant, and the rest are not. People dont know what happens when they die, even if they use a book and tout it as Gods words, the only true way to find out is to die. So assuming that the people saying theyre going to heaven are 100% right is stretching it, because in all reality they are bluffing, they dont know about the afterlife any more than anyone else.

I agree with the answerer who said everyone is crabby in here tonight, geez. I love how people shoot down any reasonable argument as though thier answer makes more sense. To say that is unreasonable. Your question has reasonable thought , I personally don't think that is true but I have no reason to justify that. Excellent thought provoking question. Makes more sense that alot of things people say in here thats for sure.

Only 1 God and he even states he is the God of our Fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, etc etc. Meaning he is the one God that all pray to, no matter what you call him.

Atheists on the other hand have been wrapped in the hand of Lucifer and are none the wiser.

Just read Revelations, its happening now. Every day I see another tiny part of it coming true. Hillary will win office....it says so by saying " a non named female is seen riding the beast ". USA is the beast...and only way a female can ride it, is to be president. Plus it states that during these end times, the liars lies will be shown. Sylvia Brown is under attack for all her lies....many in the Government, Bush, many Priests have been called out as pedophiles, the list goes on and on. Plus it states that the Beast will return to Babylon. Iraq is Babylon, look on any map. Also states that all the enemies of Israel will surround her. Look on a map, all around her want to kill her off.

Look to the sky...cause soon you are gonna see the Son of Man riding a cloud coming from the sky.

I see it. I mean there really is no point to agruing about where you go when you die because no one knows! I like your theory, it makes it so that people don't have to fight and could just have a grown up conversation. I hope this theory takes off!

No, it is not a reasonable thought. The Bible, either if you believe it or not, clearly states what happens with man when he dies. There is only one of two places were to go when we die. It has been set up by God already. If we don’t like it, that is our problem. But it’s a good ting that we have a choice…. Please forgive my English; it’s not my native language.

Oh yes I agree! I look around, I have even asked around! Most people hate the idea of eternal life and when I look into their eyes I can see they are right! For the life they lead is in eternal fright!

The problem here is that you are "feeling" thoughts. I think everyone wants to "feel" this is true. But, how can ideas in complete opposition to each other both be true? Logic demands we can't all be right.
