Cream cheese, butter and milk or cream. Just add the cream cheese in with the butter. I use about 1/2 package with about 5 potatoes. It makes a lot but it is good leftover. It is really good.

You can cook your potatoes in some chicken broth, and don't drain all the broth when they're done. We like our potatoes with just butter, a sprinkle of paprika and some parsley. Sometimes I sprinkle on a little French's french fried onions. If you like sour cream on baked potatoes, try it in mashed, too.

When I was younger, I loved putting Mrs. Dash on mashed potatoes.
Also try different kinds of cheese, other vegetables, maybe even deli meat.

try adding warm coconut milk and little bit of black pepper and salt! it's very exotic taste, you don't need butter or cream. Coconut milk has both rich and creamy flavor! If you want to spicy it up a little bit, add one or two finely chopped hot peppers.
good luck! I live in an island... so we use a lot of coconut milk here! oh, one more thing, after you eat coconut milk, you'll get really sleepy!

when mashing you could add cream instead of milk and add some chopped chives, or add some finely chopped bacon pieces, or grated cheese ! These are all favourites in my family!

First make with some Chicken broth instead of all water. Then when you cream them....add a little Mayo with the butter and milk. Yeppers, sounds gross, but yummy, creamy and TASTY.
