Was that a question?
A follower of Christ is exactly that, he/she follows. His/her life is a pray, a dedication to God.
Let's talk about prayer. In the Holy Scriptures, how many times a day did an Israelite pray?
Let's talk about prayer. In the New Testament, how many times a day did the Jesus and his disciples pray?
Finally, where do Muslim get their requirements to pray? It isn't from the Holy Scripture, the first covenant. It isn't from the New Testament, the second covenant? So where did the quantity come from. It came from Muhammad, but where did Muhammad get the requirement? How many times a day were prayers said in Media before Muhammad?
Pray all you like, but don't expect non Muslims to prayer in the quantity you do. If you think God made the requirement, why is not in his earlier revelations. Did God forget or change his/her /it minds?
Answer: How many times a day did they pray in Media before Muhammad.
Footnote: God and Allah refer to the God of Moses, YHWH. So if five times is God's requirement, you better find it in the books of Moses.

:D well i pray after waking up, before breakfast, at about 8.00, before lunch, before dinner, before going to bed, and a few other times (actually always when i think of it). so it might be about 10 prayers a day (at least). and i know many christians who pray very often.
And, by the way, we don't only pray when we're in trouble (that would be much too seldom...)

The reasons you don't notice Christians praying are:
1) We don't need to face Mecca.
2) We don't use prayer rugs.
3) We don't use loudspeakers to announce prayer times.
4) We pray always, and without ceasing.

Real Christians follow the commandment to pray without ceasing, which means always focusing on the Lord and His word in prayer, asking Him for guidance in all things and aspects of life.

It may be true that many who profess to be Chrisitans don't pray very often and this is sad because Jesus Christ, who Christians are supposed to follow, prayed to his heavenly Father often.
At Matthew Chapter 6 verses 9-11, Jesus gave a model prayer. This prayer was an example of how true Christians should pray. However, prayers should not be a mere ritual, nor just read from a book, neither should they be just repetitive without thinking, and they shouldn't be made just to impress others, to be acceptable to God, they must come from our heart and be said respectfully and with humility, recognizing the greatness of the one whom we are praying too. (Matthew 6:5-7; Psalm 138:6)
Our Creator wants us to draw close to Him in prayer and so our prayers should come from our hearts. (Psalm 62:8) There is no set number of times a day prayers should be said. When our heart moves us to pray, this pleases our Creator and He hears our prayers as long as the things we ask for are in accordance with His will. (1 John 5:14)
God's Word the Bible encourages us to pray "incessently" (1 Thessalonisans 5:17) and to "Persever in prayer." (Romans 12:12)
Prayer is a way that we can draw close to God because when we pray, we are communicating with God and any relationship between two persons needs regular communication. God communicates with us through His Word, the Bible.
We should pray often because we have so much to pray for. We should pray to thank God for the many things He's done for us and created. We can pray when we are anxious over things, (Psalm 55:22) when we need help and when we are distressed. Phillipians 4:6 says: "Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God,"
Jesus also told his followers to pray for help to avoid temptation to go against God's Will at Matthew 26:41, he said: "Pray continually, that you may not enter into temptation."
So we have many reasons to pray and there is no specific number of times a day to pray. Whether a person prays once a day, 5 times a day, or 20 times a day does not make a person acceptable to God. At Acts 10:34, 35, the apostle Peter, under inspiration from God, said: "......For a certaintly I perceive that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him."
What God requires is for us to do His will and then our prayers that come from our heart will be heard by Him. And for us to be close to God, we need to pray regularly. (Luke 18:1; Hebrews 5:7; James 4:8; Psalm 66:19,20)

Consider that most of the 2004 Tsunami victims were Muslims who prayed 5 times daily and were drowned anyway. That's the power of prayer that religion doesn't want to talk about.

Those that only pray to God when in trouble are not Christian - they are 'part time God believers' - not Christians. When things are going good or bad, a true Christian remains faithful to God and has God in their heart and mind all the time - not just when they're in trouble!

Real Christians pray when they wake, pray before bed, pray before they eat, pray before going on a trip... That's well over 5 times a day.
To the dummy (Mr. Num Num ) - whatever the hell that means - who said I posted four things... Hi genius ~ us normal people eat more than once a day :)
