Sounds like you like him more than as a friend. There's a lesson to be learned by women who choose to chase a man. Why would you have to make him talk to you? If he's a friend, then he'd care enough to find you and talk to you, right?

A little detail about your relationship will help.
What made him not talk to u? Did you profess your love? If so, pursue him and tell him that you can still be friends even if he is not interested to take the friendship to a higher level.
If he just not talk to u for no good reason, rethink why u want to talk to him in the first place.

I would take the time to find out what is wrong, and why the sudden silent treatment. If he is your real friend, he will tell you why the sudden change in his demeanor towards you. If he refuses to talk, tell him it hurts your feelings he is not speaking with you, and that whenever he is ready to talk, you will be there. Then leave him alone. Some guys just need space. Only time and a little effort will reveal the truth.

no do not pursue him and make him talk to you. if you did that you will push him away. just give him a couple of days if he does not call you then call him. ask him why he is not talking to you.
