TTC for a total of 10 months now. No success, I am purchasing or wanting to purchase a ovulation predictor kit. However, I am wondering if it is worth the money to buy a ClearBlue Fertility Monitor which stores up to 6 cycles and tells you your peak time from a few days before ovulation or if I should just buy ovulation test strips http://www.accuratepregnancytests.com/ovulation_kit.html#details . I have a irregular cycle varying from 29-63 days over the last year. I will need anywheres 14-40+ tests a month to get a pattern going. (the Dr instructed me to start testing around 12-14 days from day 1, until I ovulate)

What do you think?

Paula, thank you.

I have been to my Dr and to a GYN about this. All my labs came back normal this month. Previously my cycles were irregular due to high prolactin levels, not they are fine and the Drs are not willing to find out whats wrong.

My friend has the same issue and the Dr run some blood work and found out that she had Thyroid problems and that is why she had irregular periods,if your Dr isn't trying to figure why you are irregular go to an OB and get that fix it will be less stressful, good luck!

Have you checked out the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? It has a ton of great information.
