I'm a Catholic, and i think Islam is GReAT! it makes a whole lot of sense than the Bible<< (a load of crap and confusion). i was forced to study the Bible and it was horrid. i started exploring the Quran that a CHRISTIAN friend (an open-mined person) gave me it and it made perfect sense. I wasn't confused anymore with Trinity, Holy Ghost, and Jesus son-of-God **** (no connection between them) Bible is hypocriticle most of the times. I think Islam is NOT a lie, but the true truth, and i'm adament about it! my friend and i, we both are!

I am a Christian and I have never believed that Jesus was God. But I do believe that he is the son of God. Why is it that they (Muslims) believe in Jesus, but they just don't believe that he is the Son of God. Mohammad's writings didn't come until years after all of Jesus' disciples had died. Why do you suppose that is? I think the Holy Bible is the truth and not a lie. I refuse to kill anyone just because they don't share my faith, as the Quran says to do.

Do you realize that Islam is not a Christian religion? They are pagan, for one thing. They don't worship the true God, but a 'moon god'. They are also against Christianity. The Koran was written by a mere sinful man - Muhammad - NOT God! The bible is ALL true from front to back, written by holy men of God with the divine guidance of His Holy Spirit. God cannot lie - He is perfect and blameless and is incapable of lying. Man IS capable of deceiving and lying, which makes the Koran a book of nonsense! It's NOT a holy book! The bible is the ONE and ONLY holy book. If a Christian went over to a Muslim country and opened professed they are Christian, they wouldn't be returning home, if you get my meaning!

As for you saying there's no connection with the Holy Trinity, you are so wrong. The bible specifies that Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are one (1 John 5:7 - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Jesus is God in the flesh; God the Father is a spirit. :D

I do not resent Muslems, or Islam. I resent persons of any culture whom are seperatists. I do not like any person of any religion, extemists or other, whom cut off persons heads in the name of religion. That is wrong. I was raised a Catholic. I studied the Qu'run for 6 years, and Islam and am familiar with the six pillars of faith. It is sad that you think so many Christians resent Muslems because I do not think that true. I was in a bi-cultural relationship in which, I , was the one ostracized ... many persons do this, no matter the age, race, religion or creed. It is called Ignorance, and that is a sad state of affairs. I have been in a mosque, I have been in Gudwara, I have been in Catholic Churches, Babtist and Penecostal churches and also Jewish synagogues. You will never heal all hatred, in understanding you can help heal others. Sometimes I get upset of how I was treated by one specific culture other than mine, in another religion but I cannot judge and hold hate in my heart for all persons of that ethnicity, and religion. I am happy that you have opened your mind and heart to another faith but know there are many crimes against women done in the name of Islam, law of Sharia, throughout the world. I sense this is wrong. I have also been in churches where mistreatment of women was acceptable, so we must be wise and know what God wants, waheguru wants, Allah or Jehovah. This is truth. This is only truth.

God bless all, and a su lam
I must add that the events that ocurred in the bible were concurrent with happenings in the Qu'ran, so is much to think about.

I do not resent Muslims - my husband is Muslim. However, the teaching of Islam is corrupt and blasphemous. Sorry about being so blunt, but if you read the Qu'ran you will see that Islam does not give Jesus His rightful place. Islam promotes ill will to the Jews and Christians and all others are considered infidels who should be 'killed with the sword' if they don't convert. The followers are misled.

May the peace, blessings and mercy of God be upon you

Forgive their ignorance, and be greatful God has shown you the straight path of Islam Monotheism. All I recommend is that if you are studying continue to do so.

You do not have to become a Muslim right away, but make sure you are before death comes for you.

All you have to truly believe to be Muslim is

I testify there is no god but God alone and Muhammad is his messenger

La illaha illa Muhammadur rasulallah

Peace Be With You

yeah there are conversions from all sides. However dont tell me that quran is truth. I am not a kid here to bend to the emotional drag.
quran would say, no god but allah, mohammed is his prophet, pray 5 times a day, respect elders, humanity is highest virtue, and many more good things.
I completely accept those ideas and intensions, however there is something behind those sayings, which drags peolple to it, its god. If god is not mentioned in that book no one reads it. The real thing is that people come dragged to islam because of its simple and honest talk about god, while getting into situation of believing god to the extent of not able to judge good and evil. That is what happening to many islamic people. They cannot judge truth if it is against islam. Mohammed killed millions of hindu and buddists, because he thought they were sinners. You may argue that, god dont want idol worship. (Even hinduism says against idol worship in its holy books), that doesnot mean you call them sinners, just by believing quran. The point is that muslims judge people based on quran. Good morals cannot save us, if we are not wise enough to predict the results of our actions.

Because Muslims and Catholics both practice false teachings. The Catholics invented the Quran, so it makes sence that a Catholic would accept it over a book (The Holy Bible) that they do not teach or believe in.

It is important to distinguish between resentment of Islam and resentment of Muslims. Beliefs and people are two different things! For me, I reject Islam because I find that as a whole, the system of belief is false. But that does not translate to hating Muslims, who are people who embraces Islam, insofar as they do not commit evil and violence against others.

I don't have resentment towards Islam. Just a feeling of sadness that they don't know the truth and they will spend an eternity in separation from God
Romans 3:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
All you need to do is accept the gift of salvation that God is offering through his Son Jesus.
