What was your favorite era of the Toyota Camry's? Mine is the 1997-01 Toyota Camry's, they had the right styling and they weren't overly rounded or boxy and they seem to be more reliable than the 2002-current Camry's, plus the 1997-01 Camry's weren't overly big either.

My answer doesn't belong here as I own a 2004 LE Camry. The one and only problem I've had, the knock sensor had to be replaced. The mileage is outstanding 35 mpg in trips. I like a car that handles well. The LE version filled my needs perfectly. I personally have many issues with the car. The original Bridgstone RE92 tires are the worst tires I've ever owned. They hydroplane easily. When I hit a puddle of standing water on a highway the car feels as if I slammed the brakes on and the car and it veers toward the water. If weather conditions are such, driving 2 inches of snow or ice I simply park the car. It's too dangerous to drive. I'm also 6' 4" tall and wear 13AA shoes. The driver floor well is too cramped. the close proximity of the petals only allow me to brake with my left foot. I need to adjust the seat to adjust the seat much further back to get my knees of the bottom of the dash. My 36" arms then are uncomfortably extended. Toyota needs an adjustable steering column that has a minimum of 6" of telescoping adjustment.

1995-96 Camry's were my favorites, I liked the taillights alot better than the taillights on the 1992-94 models.

I shouldn't be saying this but I would have to say 1989 Camry. I only say that because I own one and it is the first and only car I own =)

i like the 2000,probably the best,it had the larger rear, tail lights.the 97-01,had a more sleek look to them.and they had the engine and powertrain down pat.and the bodies seemed to be more solid.they are fun to work on as well, less trouble.
