As every one has said dont starve yourself. But if you are aware that you will gain that weight back I recommend you try the Lemonade Fast. As a detox you will be cleansing your body and as a resuilt you will loose weight---but keep in mind that that is not the purpose of the fast!

I dont recommend starving yourself for sure but I dont want you to simply starve yourself either

Within a few days of starving yourself, you will find that you are not losing any weight. This is because your body senses that you're not feeding it so it goes into starvation mode. Your body slows down the calorie burning process so that it conserves more energy. You're better off having about 5 -6 small HEALTHY meals a day and drinking lots of water. Even if you did lose 10 lbs, you probably won't feel much of a difference in the dress as most of this would be water weight.

Starving is definaltey not the answer, first of all eat about 5 or 6 smaller meals a day and include more fiber in your diet. Drink lots of water and try about 3 or 4 cups of green tea a day as well . It is also a good idea to excersise for about 15 to 20 minutes each day. I find that skipping rope is a quick way too lose the initial weight when you are trying to start working out
If you start with 2 minutes of skipping 2 or three times a dya for three days and then add a minute on each day to each session you will find out that after 20 days you will be able to skip for a long period of time and you will have lost a bit of weight too. I would also stop worrying so much about it, you are getting married and have enough pressure on yourself. Your wedding is for you and your husband(who obviously loves you the way you are)- not for the spectaters you are so worried about seeing you in your dress
CONGRATULATIONS by the way

Definitely not recommended. Try altering your diet to 5-6 very small meals a day. You'll be less hungry throughout the day and take on fewer calories, as well as keep your metabolism up. Also, try walking briskly every day for 15 minutes. You'll be amazed what you'll see in just 20 days of this.
Don't starve yourself, that will only backfire and you won't see results like you'd expect.

Don't starve yourself because your body will start to feed off your muscle and this my friend could land you in the hospital and you won't have to worry about fitting into your dress let alone going to the wedding, considering hospital gowns are one size fits all.
Do what the poster above me said. Eat smaller meals, exchange to the next size up (no shame in that), and take some walks, runs, squats, etc. Whatever works, but don't starve yourself. VERY BAD!

Obviously the desicion took by you is a wrong one. One thing is you should consult a fashion designer to choose a dress ofcourse, gorgeous to you and to look slim in that dress. Second one is to take diet food properly. You should remember one thing that dieting means not starving. Starving leads to weakness only and doesn't give any results.

I guess my return question would be "why did you buy a dress that is too small for an event so close"? Sounds like setting yourself up for defeat to me
Small snacks during the day (5 or 6)......no bread or sweets. Eat enough to just knock the hunger off. No liquids except water. ...and LOTS of water. Any exercise is a plus. Do as much as you can.

Eat alot of salads. I live in a dorm and we dont get the amount of food that you would at home. I suggest eat one meal a day and then just snack later. drink lots of water. that helps alot. go to the gym everyday for like an hour or two. I think that should do it. good luck. congrats on you getting married!
