What she wants, and not afraid to say it or show it?..... do some men find such a woman to be too in your face so to speak, or do some men find her intimidating? or is this an attractive trait for we women to have? i like when my man is upfront, and straight forward, and tell it like it is.... why shouldn't i be the same? that way ther ar no misunderstandings right?.....do we women who are comfortable in our own skin, and body, who know what we want scare men off?.... let me know your views?

I think it's great when you're not afraid to tell it like it is. It will make it so much easier in the relationship for you guys to communicate.

There's just one thing to watch for. Saying things straightforward shouldn't be a problem ever, but saying too much stuff can always be a problem. Some girls I know will always MAKE SURE you know what's on their mind. They are arrogant, thinking they know the right way and you don't. They are quick to judge, if someone looks underdressed - she's automatically a ho, if some guy forgot an important date, he's automatically a no good looser. People like that annoy anyone.

So as long as you listen more than you speak and you are not quick to judge people, being upfront is a gift that any decent man will appreciate you for.

Your answer depends on the security level of the man and also how he perceives his desirability among women. A woman fitting your description will not attract a man who has a hard time getting a date and/or who is insecure about himself, regardless of whether you think he is a "hottie" or "nottie". Regardless of whether his a nice guy or a jerk. He will fear dating you. On the other hand, you will attract men who have been successful with women and who have grown tired of women who faun over him and follow his lead all the time. This guy could also be a nice guy or a jerk . Also a Hot or Not. The only qualities you can be sure of, given the limited scope of your question, is that the man will be secure with himself. He will probably also like women as people.

Some men like it and some don't. Why this is beats me but thats how it is. Some guys like it because they need a mother figure to tell them what to do and others see it as a turn on because games won't be played in the relationship. At the same token, some guys hate it for the same reasons

As with any other trait, some find it attractive while some do not. If that's who you are, you need to find one you respects you for it and DOES find it attractive. Some are scared away by it, but that's just one more way to weed out the guys that are wrong for you.

The right man will appreciate it and find it exciting. I tend to be direct and my husband appreciates it very much. So if a guy doesn't like it, forget him. He's not the right one. You have to be yourself and if that's how you are, don't fear it. Enjoy it.

PS, it's also fun to make a guy squirm if you're stuck on a date and decide you don't like him. :)

lauren stole my reply LOL

I have a problem with that myself.
Guys act like they want you to be 'aggressive' about what you want and who you are. Then they act like you are pushy or something because you have a personality even though you are just enjoying life and not being negative about anything and it does scare them off
I think maybe because they don't know what THEY want really.
