when i try to open limewire it says could not load java runtime environment and gives a link to download it again and i do.. it still pops up and dosent work and ive already uninstalled and reinstalled it any ideas??

Uninstall limewire, reboot. Reinstall FLASH By going to the website. ReDownload limewire, and install... Should be good to go..
Some virus scanners will prevent certin aspects of programs from installing,, Be sure to turn those off... before installing.

Sorry to put aside your problem. First of all, Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.
Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.
Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.

In this event, it is simply your firewall that is keeping the program from functioning properly, just go to START/ CONTROL PANEL/Security Center, and disable it for limewire, it may require a re-boot to take effect, but it will fix your problem! Thanks!

Try downloading an old version from a warez site.
