Area code (201) is North East New Jersey (New York City Suburbs) mainly Jersey City or Bayonne area. The 373 Exchange is Hackensack NJ. VERY big telemarketers area. They work heavily with Sheriffs office benevolent associations, Police K-9 units, and PBA's collecting donations. LARGEST ripoff scams out there. The people who you think your donating money to get like 5% of whats donated - IF THAT MUCH!!

Punch the FULL number into this website and you can see the business or person its registered to if its listed. If it isnt, you can at least see the town and the company that carries that number.

Next time that happens just look for "reverse directory" in your search box. There are many free sites that let you put in a number and it usually tells you the city where the number is, that's about it - no name or anything , just a location and phone provider is the info they give.

You know, you could have gotten the answer to this yourself just by entering "area code 201" in any search engine. Just a thought.

It tracks calls that are bugging people.
You can also try to hit *69 on your phone to call them back right after they call. (should they call again)
Area code is probably Hackensack,NJ
