I know they are clones but how good are they really?

I bought the Tour 780 Titanium Driver from Pine Meadow a few months back and it's an o.k. driver. It has a very weird metallic clang sound to it compared to it's original clone of the Taylor Made r7. It's lightweight also. I also bought a couple hybrids (one a clone of the Rescue Dual). The clubs are alright, still not as good as the original, I recommend buying on of their clearance clubs first before buying many from them since you cannot try it in person.

I have not used the clubs made by Pine Meadow. However, I did buy a few "clone" woods and irons. I didn't like them. They were cheaply made from inferior materials. For me, they were not even close both from workmanship and playability point of view.

If you want to spend less money for your clubs, I suggest you look for used brand name clubs from your near by pro shop or reputable eBayers.
