There are ten of thousands of Christian martyrs who are killed every year for the cause of the gospel, so I'm curious how you can even ask this question.

And let me point out that 10 of the 12 original disciples were martyred for their belief and evangelism in Christ as the son of God. As Paul put it best in Phil 1:14, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."

The cause of Jesus the Christ would be to do everything for others as one can. Thats a vocation, not something to wrangle about as in 'our cause is greater than yours'. Really, we as a society has need to grow beyond rivalries or champions, even play ones agreed? Accepting personal responsibility rather than surrendering to a cause to die for is a path worthy of all and our children.

uh, historically yes. People were dying for Christ when Mohammad was a baby.
Jews died in the Holocaust because they proudly admitted to being Jewish. And true Christians should do the same.

From what we've seen so far, radical Islam says that killing yourself reaps eternal rewards. Christianity says that living for God reaps eternal rewards. I'd venture to say that it is much harder to daily lay down myself and my priorities for the sake of love than one act of suicide.
