Nothing over 10K$. I dont want to give him just money, because he's sort of irresponisble and i dont want him to waste it...any ideas? Im pretty lame at this. God Bless, Rennnnn.

If he is going to college, A LAPTOP is a must have. Check with the college where he is going to attend and see if he will have a refridge in his dorm room, if not, he will need one. He will also need a few dorm items (a big rug, a comfy chair, a bedspread (in guy tones), and a college themed cookbook ).
Not sure if he has a cellphone, but a pay as you go one for emergencies would be perfect.
A few gift cards (to walmart, his campus bookstore etc) would help him out a great deal.
It is obvious that you two are very close, what about a huge picture of you (a wallet one if that is more in line with your tastes).
He is very lucky to have a sister like you, the gifts are nice but the most important thing you can give him is YOUR TIME, WISDOM (and if asked,) YOUR ADVICE! 18 is a very trying time for some people. It is hard to make so many decisions that will have such a major impact on the rest of your life. Be sure to give him an open line to you whenever he might need it. I suspect that he already knows this but be sure to include something that says this in the graduation card that you give him.

Well i think most 18yr olds would love to have a knew great phone , with the bill paid for a year, or possibly a lap top computer or desk top if you think he's too irresponsible, or maybe a paid short vacation to some where he really wants to go, with a friend . I know most guys of this age always have a friend they talk to about every thing. maybe some new clothes to take on that trip.If he's into sports maybe special game tickets. Well i hope you make a great choice and I'm sure he'll love it no matter what you get , simply because your his big brother. Lots of luck and Love for his future!

If he's going to college and living in a dorm, give him a gift certificate for someplace like Target or Linens & Things. No kidding.

He can buy all the stuff he needs for his dorm room and have the coolest room on the floor.

How about a cruise, or something he enjoys. For instance, if he's into cars, how about a trip to a NASCAR race with a pit pass. Or if he's into music, a series of tickets for the concerts of the year. Maybe a deposit for college expenses that will (hopefully) come up later.
