It is always worse to commit an evil than to be a recipient of an evil action. The reason for this is that when you are the recipient, you have not performed the evil, and you have an opportunity to offer it up as a sacrifice to God (He rewards us for the acts of love we show Him), to respond charitably, to grow in virtue, etc. When you perpetrate the evil act, you not only harm the people around you, but moreover you harm yourself. Every act one does has an influence on who one becomes. We become what we do (hence, actions become habits, and habits can become virtues or vices depending on whether they are good or bad). So if we do evil things, we start to become evil persons.

In christian perpective, persecuting someone specially in the flesh is what realy worse, because the one that persecutes does not belong to the side of God, while the persecuted belong to the side of God.

Christians specially the ministers are meant to be persecuted, put to jail, put on trial on false accusations, death threats in the name of christ. as what Bro Eli experience

DAs love to persecute. Nobody loves to be persecuted, so I would go with being persecuted as worse.

how do you accidentaly persecute someone else?

the only way to persecute someone is to take direct action against them.

either way i would not know. I have never allowed anyone enough power over me to persecute me. the only people that i think are truly persecuted in this country are the Homosexuals. and their day is comming, just as with everyone else in this country.

funny how the same outdated ideas are applied to everyone that is slightly different over the span of several hundred years.

Jesus said, "A slave is not greater than his master, if they persecutted me they will persecute you also." I would rather be persecuted than the persecutor. Paul when he was Saul and thought he was doing what was right persecuted Christains till he was temporarily blinded and told what he was doing was wrong. Acts 8: 1 Acts 9:1-9.

I would rather be persecuted every day of my life than be guilty of persecuting another. When I say or do something that isn't Christ like, and I know I've done it, it's terrible. I would never want to crush another persons' spirit with my clumsy speaking or unkindness.

It may depend on the details but punishment is for Pavlov's dogs ...while rehabilitation and separation from society is for criminals . And some of us are foolish enough to persecute ourselves.

It's worse being persecuted.
Anyone who says otherwise has never really been persecuted.
I invite them to go to Sudan a tell them there how much better they are than those who are murdering them with machetes, or setting them on fire. I'd like to see their response.

*Denominationalists are not persecuted, but they do persecute and they don't cal it that, but that is wat iit is and they do know what they are doing, it is not accidental. I know from experience. when you bear false witness simple because the person you are lieing on is not of your denomination, that is intentonal and persecution. *
