My boyfriend and I have been together for quite a while. He used to tell me he loves me every day but lately he hardly ever does. It's been like that for a few months and we haven't spent much time together either due to his busy work schedule. He just got back home from working overseas for a month. I thought we would get to spend more time with each other now that he was back. But he went to visit his friends whom he hadn't see for a few months last weekend. I confronted him yesterday and asked him why he never told me he loved me nowadays. He said he had been very busy and as a result tired, but his feelings hadn't changed. He said sorry if i felt neglected.
It shouldn't take much time or engery to say those words. I feel he has lost interest and was just using some lame excuse.
Am I worrying about nothing?

The answer is YES!
I get the impression your Beau is telling you the truth. Give him more time. You should realize that it isn't easy beiong away in the Military! Life and things are different in other States, Countries, not to mention stressful!
Let him have his time with his friends and let him "charge up" with rest and I'm sure your life will get back to the same as before. Try not to worry. It'
s a good sign to me that he told you his circumstances and ESPECIALLY telling you his feelings hadn't changed, SO don't lose faith ok?
Sit and talk and ask where your relationship is going. A good talk is good once inawhile!

Time will tell, but I wouldn't suggest asking him. A person's actions show a lot about what they are feeling. Give him some time and realize that he may have things going on that you are unaware of. If after a few weeks and he isn't paying much attention to you, then you will at least have an idea of what may be going on. Do give him a chance and no need to worry because there is probably little you can do to help the situation. Good luck.

I'm truly saddened by the situation your relationship is in . I've been there. Things never got back to the " I love you everyday " days . I tried everything to keep things together but nothing worked . Sorry I can't offer advise on what may work for you . To answer your question in one word : "should I worry ? " yes

you should not worry so much it sound like both of you are going
though a lot, just take the time to spent as much time to together
then you can see, his actions can tell a lot about how he is feeling
so just take time to be with each other. i believe that thing will change.

Now that you've told him, he knows. He should know now that saying it means something. If he continues to be this way, then you have an issue. When you've been with someone for a long time, yes you forget to mention these things, not because we dont mean them, we just expect them to already know. Its nice hearing it, i know, just let him make up to you. If he doesnt then find someone who will.

seems like he did lose interest. sit down and talk to him and let him know whats really going on in your head. just let him know that you feel that there is something different and if he feels the same too.

Every relationship settles into something comfortable. He's probably secure in his love for you and your love for him. He needs to say it once in a while, but he doesn't need to say it every day.
