hffkbd.dll is related to "Mal-ware" or "Spy-ware"
It use to initialize upon PC boot but you must have removed it "Norton, Spyware removal, or uninstalling something". Now, when your PC boots it tries to initialize software that currently no longer exists on your PC. All you have to do is...

Click START
Select RUN
Type "msconfig" without the quotes
Hit ENTER
Click the STARTUP tab at the top
Look down this list for anything that says hffkbd.dll, also check the file pathes to the right for this file.
Once you find it, UNCHECK the box next to it.
Click OK
Reboot

Sounds like you're using Windows. Have you installed or removed any programs lately? If you're using XP, you may want to try doing a system restore. That process literally "takes your PC back in time" to the last restore point. WARNING: you may lose data in the process, carefully read all the directions to do a system restore, and be sure you fully understand the risks before proceeding.

HINT: It is a good idea to ALWAYS create a restore point BEFORE adding or removing any programs, and then create another restore point AFTER adding or removing any programs. It may take up a bit of space on your hard drive, but that's why we have those huge hard drives, right?

Good luck.

You probably have deleted a folder containing a program sometime in the near past and when this program tries to run at startup, it can't because the essential file hffkbd.dll is missing so it gives you a message.
