Right now Bishop is sitting between me and the laptop and growling at the screen. Oh wait. Now he's barking. He's so vicious. All four pounds of him. :)

My French Bulldogs like to play jokes on each other and my other dogs. One of them will sneak up behind the other one and then bark, which makes the other one jump. They also like to make out with each other.

Also, my male will just be laying on the floor sleeping and he will fart and startle himself. He will just start barking like crazy for a few minutes and then finally calm back down. It is kind of gross, but really funny.

My pug Sammy used to watch TV. When ever animals came on the TV he would bark. They did not have to make noise, he really saw them. One day a herd of horses were galloping and they went off of the TV screen. He got up from the couch and checked the back of the TV and was barking.

My 130lb female lab, Memphis, thinks she is my sons mother. My son is only 2 1/2 years old but she watches him like a hawk. She will grunt when she wants Landon (my son) to stop what he's doing and she will actually grab onto any loose clothing and pull him. When Landon is playing on the floor she is sit right over him and watch him. When the cats come around my son, Memphis runs them off! It's so cute. It makes me smile to think my Memphis is getting the joys out of parenthood! :)

My latest Great Dane rescue was taken from a horrible situation. She is so grateful to be warm and fed that she hugs me. She puts a foot on either side of me, when I'm sitting in the recliner chair, so she has both legs around me, then she tucks her head under my chin. Can't help but laugh at her and hug back!

I have 22 at home adn a ever changing 100 + at the rescue... My 4 lb pom ( who was beaten almost to death when i found her) will bite my nose when it is time to go pee.. yes she jumps in my lap to do it.. I have one at the shelter who will come up, paw me, turn around, and grin when she is up to something..she was an abuse case too... I have a smile on my face everyday , even if it is a bad one.. Dogs are the little things that make us smile.

Our dog will be sound asleep in the back of the house, I can slip on my shoes as quietly as possible. She runs down the hall and places her head on the arm of my chair and looks up at me with her sad brown eyes and tail wagging as if she is asking if she gets to go outside with me. If she gets to go she jumps, if she don't, she lays by the door and sounds like she is crying

We have two dogs, Suki is a Japanese Chin and Minnie is a Shi-Tzu. When I see them curled up together on the same chair, it makes me smile and wonder if people cannot learn a thing or two from animals.

My dog, Guinevere, just hates perfume bottles (with the spritz tops) and telephones - she immediately assumes the play pose - front end down, tail up and wagging, and starts barking - it never ceases to amuse me. She's also fascinated by toilets - she doesn't drink out of them, but she likes to watch them flush. :)
