It turned me off bigtime... now, Im rethinking if I even like him anymore... That just really ruined it for me... is that bad?.. should I even care?..

Like, he didnt act like he noticed...

People can't usually smell themselves but there's a big difference between clean/fresh sweat and B.O. that's been there awhile. He might have a gladular problem. My friend Becky's husband stinks when he sweats but, fortunately, Becky has no sense of smell!

I sweat easily and profusely so I shower at least once, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day depending on how much exercise I do, what time of year it is, etc.

I use Irish Spring soap and a good deodarant. I buy nice perfumes. He could smell good if he wanted to and if he's so clueless that he has no idea that he stinks then maybe you should find a nice way to tell him.

Wow, you have a problem...I would be turned off too. Who would have thought B.O. would be a bump in the road? lol. You cant help the way you feel, all you are wishing at this point is that the whole B.O. incident never happened, but unfortunatly it did. I say give the guy another chance, he did just do Taebo, so its understandable. But if he has B.O. any other time, and you can't stand it, get out before you and him carry things any farther...Good luck!

Umm, well the fact that he had just came from Taebo should'nt have bothered you that much, cuz i mean he is supposed to sweat. If it's B.O. that is constantly there and never goes away, then there could possibly be an issue. But if it is only when he works out or when he gets active, then you can deal with that. I mean just find him some good antiperspirant and you know he's gonna shower later so.. no problem!

Tell him about it.

If he's gorgeous..I'd go out with him, then buy him some new deodorant as a present one day (along with some other things--like a hygiene basket with a loofah! haha).

I dated this one guy that smelled bad last year and one day I bought him Old Spice because I loved the smell sooooo much. He wore it all the time. Problem solved.

It's not wrong to not want to go out with him. Some people smell. Why should you be stuck with one of them?

Trust your gut. If you don't like something initially, you won't like it later. If scent or body odor is a deciding factor for you, then don't even bother with him. There are lots of other gorgeous guys out there who probably won't smell half as bad. You don't have to fall for the first guy that comes down the pike. I would move on if it bothers you *that* much that you had to ask about it :)

He had just worked out! I would place fair bets that you don't smell like roses after working out. Now if he had shown up after taking a shower, putting on clean clothes and still reeked then you might have a valid argument. But as is, you sound ridiculous.

Come on, give him a break. He just needed a shower. You might be missing out on a great guy.

That's disgusting. if he stinks after exercise when he knows he's sweating, think of how he'll stink after sex or on a summer day.

No one can smell themselves. Point it out to him, and see how he reacts. Could go either way.
