Who says they are not given a chance? Study politics, get relevant degree and you can get in poitics anytime!
But the youth of today hate politics so much that they refrain from taking it as a career option. Their approach cannot be condemned completely but to take a conscious decision of entering polictics is not an easy one in todays era.

The majorities are the most experienced people who are in politics and its not as the youth's are not given the place to enter into politics but they are pushed out from the politics. moreover most of the youth are willing to become a Doctor/ lawyer/engineer and willing to survive in a prestigious office, most of the youth likes to earn atleast to a moderate level due to thier family background. some are not courageous to face risk and most of them thinks it as a garbage.. even the bold ones who comes forward are not given their way because they lack experience and a form of tyranny exsist when the majorities push them backwards.Arbitration is also one of the cause..to say it in a better way every one are selfminded and selfish. they want the politicians to do every facilities and to give out their their best to the citizens , they used to abuse the politicians but no one is willing to enter with full courage and enthu..

No one has stopped them from entering politics. Nobody will give you a chance. You enter politics with a view to serve. Naturally, people will listen to you. Enter politics with a view to boss over others and win favours with those who dole them out. You are out.

They are, they just cannot run for Congress til the age of 25. In the meantime they can intern in a political office, go to work for a lobby or get some sort of advanced degree. There are plenty of opportunities for young people.
