anything you can buy to make paint stay on longer?? like spray paint on something

It depends on the surface. You can try scuffing the surface to help adhesision. Sometimes on a flexable surface you can hit it wit spray adhesive and let it dry then paint it. There are also different things you can add to the paint to help it stick. (Usually if your brushing it on or using an airbrush or spray gun.)

Lightly sand the surface to increase the surface area for the paint to stick to.

Is this a do-it-yourself or an artist's question ?
For an artist it goes with varnishing your frame when the paint is dry. For the other I'm no specialist and here would not be the right place to ask!
