You will warp the valves. After you shut the truck off, the valves will cool down too fast and warp. Not a good idea

Your truck won't run properly using open headers. The vehicle depends on feedback from your O2 sensors and the proper operation of the EGR system to run properly.
Not only that, any horsepower gains would be offset by tickets for noise ordinance violations and inspection fines for disabling the catalytic converter.
Get a cat back exhaust system specifically designed for your truck, free flowing intake, a super charger and a chip. You'll be more satisfied with the results. And it will cost you about as much as the tickets and fines you won't get.

A good exhaust will work better than open headers, I have a 6.0 diesel and tried running a straight pipe...the constant droning sound drove me mad so went with a turbo back exhaust with a muffler tuned to my application and gained horsepower and fuel mileage compared to the straight pipes, so whoever thinks that the best back pressure is no back pressure is full of it.

VERY BAD IDEA!! All that hot exhuast would be dumping right on your engine, heating it even more. What you're thinking about is straight pipes. You would gain probably about 25HP and 30 lb. feet of torque on your F-150. I have no idea on the F-350 but it would be a considerable amount of power. But you would be dumping black smoke everywhere like crazy, so you would probably get pulled over alot. Also both cars would be very loud, it sounds nice but you will probably get pulled over for it 2-3 times a year. I would think about getting an exhaust cutout, that way you can have the straight pipe power.

it would be real loud and you would probably not gain a whole lot of power if any, then you will have check engine lights coming on as well the engine requires the o2 sensors, to function properly, unless you have a way to somehow bypass the issue

You need back pressure for this motor. You would lose Hp if you were to run straight headers. Also, have you thought what your gonna do about the oxygen sensors??If the engine cant determine how much fuel its using, its gonna run like crap and your check engine light will be on.

You would not gain anything at all..... your engine needs to create the right amount of back pressure in it's exhaust system.... running no exhaust system means no backpressure, you will end up burning your valves and pistons....

10 to 15 but that thing would be too noisy it would get anoying after driving it on the free way. Im experianced at that I rather have atleast flowmasters to keep the noise down some.

open headers will give you maximum performance at very high rpm's. besides you'd hurt the valves because of lacking restriction (A.K.A. Back pressure).
An on a 2004 your sensors would send false readings to your computer.
