The driver is the software that runs the device called a drive. Lite-Scribe is a technology that allows you to burn "labels" onto the non-writing surface of special DVDs. The disks are expensive and the technology, though neat, hasn't really caught on.

It uses a laser on the other side of your disc to label your disc. Take a picture for instance you can put that picture on the top of your disc. You would need lite scribe discs though to do this.
