Isaiah 40:22 "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in."

Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

2 Peter 3:7 :But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

Ecclesiates 1:7 "All rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again." This passage with v 4-11 speak of the cycle of life, the futility of life. v11 sums it up like this. .. the earth goes on, but man, the height of God's creation, passes into eternity with no remembrance. Which goes along with .. the new heavens and earth.. this world as we know it shall pass away.. everything in it will be remembered no more.

Jeremiah 33:22 " As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me."

Psalm 102:25-27 "Of old hast hthou laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end." This passage is speaking about God unchanging nature... we can applied to the Lord Jesus Christ today....as we read the book of Hebrew.. 1:10-12.

Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."

Ecclesiastes 1:6 " The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits."

Job 26:7 "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing."

Not sure what you are looking for here.. but it sure shows me that God truly exist and He did in fact create the heavens and the earth. You have kindly put layman terms to each verse. Can't dispute the Word of God... its right here!!!

All science has done is proven God is real. :o) Thank you for sharing this... it proves God is truly ALIVE indeed. Amen

yes the Bible has.. remember when Columbus sailed the ocean blue.. in 1492, they thought the world was flat. When all they had to do is read God's Word, Isaiah 40:22 proves the earth was not flat but round.

What’s your question again, I can’t figure it out? Are you’re saying you agree that this is proof that God exists, and that he created the world and everything in it and set the laws of the universe in motion and that there is poetry and figurative language in the bible that you find inspiring?

You can go to www.biblegateway.com and look them all up. You should be able to determine then if the verses match the summaries.

Try www.biblelookup.com. I would recommend using the RSV translation. (I think the * is bullet points.)

To other posters - these references in an answer to a previous question.

where did u get these summaries from....for you to understand these verses you would need to have read them yourself...and ask yourself...what is it that i dont believe....and maybe ask someone to prove it to you....these verses are not about scientifical issues....but they actually mean something
