Material nature itself is constituted by three qualities: the mode of goodness, the mode of passion and the mode of ignorance. Above these modes there is eternal time, and by a combination of these modes of nature and under the control and purview of eternal time there are activities, which are called karma. These activities are being carried out from time immemorial, and we are suffering or enjoying the fruits of our activities. For instance, suppose I am a businessman and have worked very hard with intelligence and have amassed a great bank balance. Then I am an enjoyer. But then say I have lost all my money in business; then I am a sufferer. Similarly, in every field of life we enjoy the results of our work, or we suffer the results. This is called karma.

If somebody eats sweet he feels happy. If somebody eats salt he feels thirsty. If somebody runs in the hot sun for some time he feels thirsty. It is as simple as that. It is not complicated.
Karma is not something which does not exist if don't believe or it is not that something which exists if I believe it exists.

Well... I'm not sure I believe in it but I do have an interesting story...
When my BFF and I were at Target in the makeup section, we saw an opened package on the floor... Somebody stole whatever it was. I picked it up and it was a lip gloss company called "Karma." Quite ironic...

The true meaning of Karma is "Whats bad for one is good for another". The same action is both good and bad. eg One person wins lotto means that someone else did NOT win.
It does not mean "what goes around comes around" (revenge) "Getting your just deserts". etc which imply some sort of divine providence

Yes I believe Karma is true. The good and the bad happens to both the good and the bad.

No, I believe in the biblical principle of reaping what you sow. I also believe in mercy and forgiveness. God said to me, if I am merciful, I shall receive mercy. If I forgive others, He will forgive me.

I prefer this kind of living over revenge and being glad when someone "gets theirs".

I believe in coinsidence ...justice is it's own reward but not a balance for injustice. injustice is often forever sad but true .
the rule of thumb is simple; two wrongs don't make a right.
Karma and revenge are injustices in themselves and morally wrong.

in a way:
if you're happy and nice to others, it's likely most of them will treat you nice too and do you favors they might not give everybody
same if you're mean and hateful, people may treat you bad, just because they dislike your behavior
