There is this guy that I have had a huge crush on for over a year. He is two years younger than me and I know I would never have a chance with him which is why I never told him. Anyway, I just found out today that he has a new girlfriend. I have been really depressed all day and I have been trying to think of ways I can get over him? Any ideas? It's really hard to forget him because I see him everyday on the bus ride home from school.

I can't avoid him. We take the same bus and that is the only bus that goes to our town. We have assigned seats on the bus and he sits right in front of me.

Why are you selling yourself short by saying you'd never have a chance with him? Have you tried? Don't give up without tryiing. Age has nothing to do with it. If you like this guy go for it. Quit with the negativity. You may have more to offer than you think. If its what you really want, don't give up be persistent.

You are the reason for your depression you should have approached him and asked him out you never know unless you try.

As for you getting over him if he was good enough for you to start having feelings for why not make him a friend. Talk to him on the bus ride maybe something will come up that he would leave the new girlfriend for you. =)

Good Luck

Well, you should avoid him, where ever you know he'll their try to avoid that palce, like the bus. Try to take a different bus or a alier time bus.

Also do what cheers you up, like listen to music (it helps), talking to a friends about it, or just hang with a friend or two. Try not to think about him or picture him as somebody else.

What you need to realize is that this guy is TWO YEARS YOUNGER THAN YOU!
my rule is: don't date younger guys.

they are already immature as it is. If you subtract two years from their intelligence, dating a guy like that would be like dating a dog!

What you need is, GOOD FRIENDS first. and a good relationship with YOURSELF.

Think about the guy later. Don't try to force it. There are many fish in the sea. Concentrate on improving yourself, and a good guy will come along that will totally love you. "the most important realtionship in your life is with yourself"

Focus your crush onto someone else..

Eating, exercising or shopping is a good theraphy. You can even do reading or cooking. Do something that can take your mind of him.. Though it will be hard forgetting your love for him now. But sooner or later you will get over this and one day you will look back at how silly you were at then..

Well there is no answer... not even time, unless you find someone new...personally i would wait if they break up telll him i guarantee he doesnt know how you feel if he knew and was single he'd be all yours. I say go hang out with your girls you can forget about him whiile your with them. But then if your like me you'd get depressed again when your alone.

Drop out of school, turn to drugs, and sell your body for minimal amounts of money and develop a horrible crack habit. That'll teach that sucker.

Get over him. That's how. Or just fight for him, with the other girl, ask him out, etc.

He might like you better. Or not. Live.
