Wicca is a new religion that was created in the twentieth century. PLEASE look it up and stop the ignorance that is spread about this subject! The people who were killed as witches in Salem were not Wiccans or witches, they were Puritan Christians who just happened to piss the wrong people off.

Noone was Burned durring the Salem trials.
they were hanged, or drowned. and None of them were Wiccan.
Wicca was not founded as a religion untill the 1940's when Gerald Gardner started publishing books about it. he claims that it comes from an ancient line of european witches. but has no historical evidence. the Burning times, where people were burned at the steak were in Europe, and happened much before the Salem trials.
furthermore there is No evidence that any Witch was ever actually caught tried and killed for being a witch. many people were killed because they were accused of witchcraft. and in several of these cases a Neighbor stood to gain their land for farming or livestock purposes.
quite simply the Pagans and witches are smart enough to blend in with society, and not get caught.

Same way as the Native Americans alive today got reparations - by being given some piddly little chickenscratch reservation and being told to be happy with it?
That's a joke, by the way. Well, sort of, because it's true the Native Americans got the shaft.
Anyway,
your ancestors (and mine, because my family does date back to 17th c New England) weren't Wiccan. Wicca didn't exist back then.
Plus, if they were burned at the stake, how could they be your ancestors? The histories list most of those who were burned as young teenage girls - not exactly baby-factories yet.
However, you could petition the Pope anyway.

That won't happen until Rome pays reperations to christians whose christian ancesters were slaughtered in the dark ages by the thousands in every crual way imaginable, and thrown to the lions and gladiators. Compliments of the Vatican.

Question: How many accused witches were burned during the Salem Witch Trials?
Answer: None. With one exception (Giles Corey, who was crushed to death), they were hanged, not burned.
Have a nice night.

I can't stand all the grabby minorities who want reparations for things that happened generations ago; stand on your own, or fall under my boot.
