I will send cracker and cheese. Some cut up fruit and veggies. Veggie dip. Sandwhich with bread, pita, or totilla bread to mix it up. I like those mini rice cakes. Sea salt crackers (instead of chips). Those cheese wedges. Nuts. Juice boxes. My daughter loves wheat crunch. Bagels with cream cheese on them. I also send a water bottle. These kids go all day with only a juice box at lunch!!! My daughter will go the whole day without going to the bathroom once.. so I send water bottle that she keeps in her backpac and she gets a drink whenever she wants

What is her fav sandwhich? try that and does she like veggie sticks. If so send like carrot and celery sticks with a little side of ranch dressing to dip them in. Crackers and cheese is always good. for a dessert type thing she could have fruit or even maybe a little pudding, it is made with milk and is good most kids love it.

Have you asked her what she would like? And if you do, and it's nothing you approve of, try to compromise. My daughter wanted a "Lunchable" on her first day this year. I told her that was fine, although since I don't feel they provide adequate nutrition, I also sent her with some apple slices and carrot sticks, which she likes and she got what she wanted, and so did I.

Make the old fashioned sandwich but use cookie cutters and make fun shapes. Give her bright colored fruits that can picked up, like green and red grapes. and a desert she likes.
