My mother died.
I was alone home in my living room sitting on my couch with my trusty dog wally. I was upset, missing her on this days. It was Mothersday. I was crying.
The dog stood up suddenly looking at the corner of the living room. This was unusual for Wally. The fur stood straight up on the dogs back and he started to growl.
I looked up, I looked at the corner of the room. I heard my mothers voice clear as a Bell. She was upset....she said Terry (my name, then after a puse ) she said no.
This is my most convincing event of several I have had with spirits.......This is a true story.

I once took a picture of a billboard for "Margaritaville" around Sandusky, OH and it was supposed to be just the sign and an empty field, but standing next to the roadside in the photo appears to be a translucent sihlouette of a person. It could be just a double negative, or something, i don't know. But i still like to at least believe i have a picture of a ghost. I guess i'll have to go out that way this Summer and take another picture in the same spot and see if something comes up again. Then I'd know. But it still made a pretty cool picture, whatever it is.

The house I grew up in was haunted by several ghosts. Once when I was about 14, I woke up and saw what appeared to be a man staring down at me. My bedroom door was locked, so I wondered how he got into the house, came upstairs, and into my room without waking my parents. He looked like he was about 45 years old, and was wearing a plaid flannel shirt and work pants. I thought he was a robber and was trying to decide what to do to me, so I swung at him as hard as I could and when my fist hit him it went right through and he disappeared. I swung so hard that I fell out of bed and hit the floor so hard my parents woke up and came running to see what happened.
My sister, my mother, and I saw several ghosts in that house, including the ghost of my great grandfather that appeared before we even knew he was dead.
Once when my sister and I were having a small party there my sister suddenly hot a shocked look on her face and told me the demonic ghost that had been tormenting her was standing behind me. I turned around and ordered it using the power Jesus gave Christians to go back to hell where it belonged. It vanished and did not return.

Yes as my grandmother saw them and also my mother experienced them. I had some experiences with odd happenings after a death that were not a coincidence, like when someone close died who was into opera..
- There I was sitting with my brother talking and the TV switched itself on at full volume and it was an opera! - we both jumped!

My father, a young lad out on his families farm in the early 1900's. Dark, couldn't see your hand in front of your face.
"Can you direct me to town young man?"
My father startled, turned and saw with the aid of his candle lamp, a very old haggard woman who he didn't recognize.
"Who are you? How'd you get here?" he asked in a frightened voice. She just smiled.
"Hold on, I 'll get my Dad." Turning to the the house, he yelled for his father.
Turning right back, she was gone. He quickly checked all about. He neither saw nor heard any sign of her. And never heard in town or from any neighboring farms anything about an old lost woman.

No, although I do get the creepies in graveyards and will concede that there are unexplained apparitions. But really I'm not a believer.
