Not at all- the bride and groom will appreciate you saving them cash! Just don't put down a guest if you don't intend on bringing that. I've seen it happen and it's just rude. I hope some of my wedding guests are like you!

If you're comfortable going solo, go solo. Just because you can invite a guest doesn't mean you have to. Invitations say bring a guest as a courtesy to you so you can bring a date if you want. No one is going to be bothered if you don't bring one, just RSVP for yourself only, especially if it is a sit-down dinner, so any needed adjustments can be made to the seating arrangements.

You can go solo if you want. They are just extending the invitation for a guest INCASE there is someone that you you like to bring with you. It is a nice gesture on their part. When you send in your response just write down where "the total number of guest coming" is "1". They wont think nothing of it.
Go have fun and enjoy!

It's not "bad" to attend a wedding as a guest without a companion.
Once you have replied to the invitation don't change your mind and later try to take someone with you. Wedding planning is difficult enough for those making the arrangements.
Have a wonderful couple of days.

No. It's not bad at all. If your invitation says "Your name and guest" it's just a polite way of saying, if you have a significant other you are welcome to bring them. If you want to go solo, go solo. There are so set and fast rules that say that if you are invited to bring a guest you have to bring a guest.

You if you want to go solo there is nothing wrong with that. Generaly when the person being invited is single the invite usualy states: So and So & friend. this is done to make up numbers and to ensure that you do not feel like the third wheel at your table.

Definitley not a problem! They were probably saying bring a guest for your sake, incase you didn't want to come alone. I am working on gathering my rsvp's and believe me they will be estatic to save some $$ on the seat! :-) Go solo and enjoy yourself for sure!

some human beings hate going to weddings on my own, so they cant fathom why somebody could want to bypass on my own. I dont think of you're able to deliver a customer. If youre in the bridal occasion, then your customer would be on my own for a physically powerful element of the day/evening, which isnt honest to them. And as somebody else mentioned, you're meant to easily deliver a customer if youre severe with that individual. I wouldnt enable the single questions situation you. only bypass on my own, and meet new human beings, and have relaxing!

Not at all. Why bring someone if you want to go alone. If you bring someone you will be entertaining that person when your attention can be focused on the wedding and your friends and family.

No, not at all. Just RSVP with your name only, I'm sure the bride and groom won't be upset; they'll be saving money on food/plate costs. Go and have a good time. Just think you won't have to entertain a date all night that doesn't know anyone else. Have fun.
