I am a visual tactile learner. Kinesthetic. I learn best actually assimilating or doing after I have seen it done. I initiate on my own without visual stim as well. If I can visualize it I can retain and perform it. With book learning is hard if I can't assimilate in my mind. Is more difficult but is feasible for me. I memorize the material. I make monotonous facts more interesting by thinking of absurd associations. It works every time. Hope this gave you some ideas.

I always write things down in a notebook that way its fresh when I write it down and I can always have it on hand for easy access
