She agreed to let me go when she just thought it was my girlfriends, but when I told her my guy friends, including my boyfriend were coming, she said she didn't feel comfortable 'sending me away with my boyfriend'. We've been going out for 8 months!!!

Mom don't have a bad idea. Depending on how old you are and everything, it sounds like your young, guys cannot be trusted, not even after 10 years of being around them. While I do hope you get to see your boyfriend and go on this trip, at the same time I am worried something might happen to you, especially since you mention "guy friends". Many parents feel uncomfortable having their girl go somewhere with one guy, no matter how long they have been around each other, the fact you mention guys, if I were your mom there would be no talking me into it. This is a bad idea chickadee, you may feel grown up, but something might happen to make you grow up faster than you intend and scar you for the rest of your life. If you do go, be careful and don't trust the guys too much. Men tend to act up in the company of each other, so be careful. Try to explain to her that you will be very responsible for yourself, and you just might get to go. Don't fight about it, try acting like an adult and explaining the truth of what your doing & why you wanna go. Since you have already lied, the chances are slim if you don't admit you have lied and describe your reasons for wanting this. Good luck at any rate.
