Heh, I'm a handsome dude but my conversation skills are WEAK. Nothing enters my mind when out on a date to talk about! I mean once I get to know someone its different, but the 1st few dates what do you talk about usually? I am SO BORING!!! HELP!!!

here's a fun thing to try: questions! Like the silly ones that'll make you laugh: "Pepsi or coke?" You'll find out silly things about people, and it helps break the ice. You may even find something deeper to talk about, and if you don't and just talk surface, at least you'll have fun!!

Start by getting to know your date,ask questions open ended ones like what do you think about ....and if you still have trouble get to know the person first then ask for a date .

conversation and conversation on dates are two different things. conversation on dates is all about the other person. you ask questions about what they like, what they feel, what they do, what they think and then ask questions off of their answers. everyone likes to talk about themselves and this is an easy way to converse without thinking about what to say. just ask questions. shrinks make a living by doing this.
if the date starts asking you stuff, answer sincerely but then ask the question back--"what do YOU think, do, like, etc.?"

you talk about the basics,, your job,, where u have been to school,, family ,, your interests,,, this will help determine if you 2 have anything in common. You may have a huge interest in history (like me) and she may be bored to death and you can get an idea on the first date.

lol poor thing, just ask about their day, job, future, family, interests, foods, movies, music, pets, cars, trucks, lakes, vacations, travel, books, career, partner interests...ect...come on sweetie it can't be that hard. You need to find a chick that can take control of the conversation 1st couple of dates ;)

How about something that interests you, things you have in common, etc.
It could be fave music, movies, books, places to go or would like to see, etc.
