If a guy you are dating, just dissapears on you and stops calling you with no reason, and then you email him twice to see what happened, but he doesnt answer, is it because he doesn´t have the guts to tell you it´s over or is it that he just doen´t even care?

I don't want to sound mean, but honestly he just doesn't care about you. If he cared the least bit he would have been a man and told you it was over.

As a guy, I might be able to offer some insight to this. First, it depends on how long you were dating. Second it depends on how many loyal friends you have. The higher the number for either of these...the closer you get to the "no guts" end of the scale and vice versa for the "doesn't care" side. The longer you were dating, the less-likely he is willing to "break your heart" and trust me, every guy believes if he breaks up with you, it will completely devastate you. The more loyal friends you have the less likely he is to incite confrontation for fear of his well-being.
also, you need to consider the amount of time that has lapsed since the last time you had contact. if it has only been a few days, that is nothing to be concerned about (not really) most guys like the feeling of being independent and will occasionally feel a need to break contact with those around them.

I'd guess no guts. If he didn't care at all, or wasn't worried at all, he could just send a quick email saying it was over. The way he is avoiding the issue would mean he is a big wuss.
