They are dumb. It's the 16th amendment to the constitution!!!!

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

16th Amendment passed in 1913.

How come almost every day somebody asks this same question here, and even though they get very specific answers, people keep asking? And how come so many tax protesters who tried these arguments in court end up with their assets confiscated and their @$$es in prison?
