Terrorism had been such an abused word nowadays. Its present meaning became more obscured. Just like in the British news today. A group of eight people were planning to kidnap one person, with the intent to kill that person. The British police were able to prevent this from happening by arresting the culprits, just in time. But my argument is this... Why are these 8 suspects called terrorists?. Their plan didn't call for killing of innocent civilians, nor the use of dangerous explosives, etc.. It involves the kidnapping of one person and killing that person alone. Why did the British police called this case a terrorist plot instead of just an ordinary criminal plot?. I'm just wondering. Because one of these days, the British police might call a victim ran over by a car who hit-and-run as a victim of terrorism.

Terrorism is the intentional targeting of unarmed civilians. Stuff like pushing old men in wheels chairs off the decks of cruise ships, blowing up teenagers in Pizza parlors, lobbing unguided missles into residental neighborhoods, shooting fleeing elementary school students in the backs with AK-47, crushing the skull of infants, and teaching your own children to blow themselves up with suicide vest at side walk cafes.

Terrorism is an unjustifiable tactic, so there is no point in being concerned with the why. All we need to know is the who. Because the terrorist by their deeds have placed themselves outside the family of mankind and should be hunted and slaughtered for the beast that they are. No distinction need be made between the person that straps on the bomb, or pulls the trigger and those that harbor and support them. They are all guilty of the same crime against mankind.

Terrorism is used to instill fear. But what really bothers me is that terrorism has become synonymous with 9/11. This is not true. Prior to that, the Oklahoma City Bombings were carried out by two United States citizens who had military backgrounds, but that has been forgotten.

Terrorism is a method to target civilians and militants alike and instill fear through what is considered cowardly acts of war, to scare them into giving into a radical ideology or goal. Target civilians is the common method nowadays. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but then again, I dont see many Muslims publicly on TV condemning terrorism. That doesnt help their cause.

is a term used to describe violence, usually against civilians, committed by a person or organization striving to make a political statement.
If someone is personally trying to scare another group or politcal party by blowing themselves and killing innocent women Children and men just to get there point across that is terrorism. If someone who is fighting in a war and accidently kills a civilian/s that is not. Its an accident. Because they are not trying to scare the people into there beliefs or way of life.

i think terrorism is when a person or group of people use non-conventional ways to cause destruction or harm to other people. Maybe something like planting bombs and then hiding to watch the bomb go off, this is a perfect example of terrorism, standing and fighting on an open battlefield, is NOT and example of terrorism. Terrorism is a tactic used by people, that's it, nothing more, nothing less.

Terror

Children strapped with c4 belts, men who look like monkeys flying large planes into tall buildings, bearded apes piloting explosive laden boats into american ships, mental midgets attacking US embassies, so called religious leaders declaring jihad.

Screw you animals, you are reaping what you sow.
