We only have 13 people. Jesus only had 12, Noah only had a few...but they had the "REAL" truth.

Seriously, have you ever met anyone who spoke just like
I just did? I did last week and I still can't believe the arrogance, I wonder how many little frige groups like that are out there?

A lot and it's because everyone seems to think they know what the "truth" is. In reality it's more of an opinion. In extreme cases it becomes a fact to suit a warped sense of something or a power grab. Think Warren Jeffs,Jim Jones, David Karesh, Charles Manson and the entire Middle East. The list goes on. Personally the truth would seem to be the 10 commandments and yes they were set in stone. My reasoning is God knew humans like nothing better than a loophole and some kind of get out of Hell free card. But the commandments are very clear and can't be argued with. Sadly the Bible and Koran can be. So the commandments are replaced with a stack fo Bibles and a million interpretations.

I did not hear you talk. I just hope you have the truth. Numbers do not count as who really holds the truth. It may even take one to know it and I hope you are on the right track.
Just bear in mind, no religion in any part of world would ever admit they spoke lies... and just like you unless you will be careful, you may even end up creating lies that you yourself would believe it is true someday like the Old religions does.

r=cult

where r is any religion you care to choose.

b=faith

where b is any personal viewpoint about God or lack there of without having to have it spoon feed by a church or religious doctrine of any kind.

c=church

where c is any religious organization such as christianity, islam, judaeism, shinto, buddhism, pagan, etc.,... religion.

b!=r, b!=c

IE - belief does not equal 'religion' and belief does not equal 'church'.

faith isn't the problem - the 'church' and religion are. 'church' and religion are nothing more than justifications for atrocity. NO belief system justifies the actions the various 'churches' or their own 'religion' have taken from the beginning of time to the present day.... unless of course you turn to the self-defining, circular logic of the very 'religious' scriptures used to justify said actions.

that justification is based on religion, not belief.

Aww, aren't we acting like a Pharisee. Seriously, if you mean the truth by telling God's word and not making any apologies for it, then its probably cause they don't want to be convicted of their sins and that your preacher doesn't sugar coat sin and be a sunshine preacher like some of the "preachers" you see on TV or in liberal churches. How old is your church, if its fairly new, then maybe no one knows about it. ,

.I am so sorry for you. This is a tough group. We have heard your assertion so many times that we are callous.

Stick with the words of Jesus. Ignore the rest of the Bible. And, then when the Holy Spirit visits you, you will realize the real theme of Jesus, and our father in Heaven.

"Harmony is harmony. Disharmony is the only sin against God."

Come to us advocating harmony, and we will probably stop calling you names. Of course, Bubba preachers and their parrots will still say you are going to burn in Hell. But, they tell most of that , at one time or another.

I believe some churches are better than others, but I won't say "mine is the best". They all have people in them, so they will not be perfect. Some one once said that you'll never find the perfect church, because you are in it.

Anyone or any group that claims to be the sole group of truth is living a hypocritical lie. Yes, it is annoying. I'm also Christian, but I understand the different interpretations of verse and scripture. No one really has the truth except for God himself.

That's exactly what protestantism is....everyone is free to go off and invent their own church and therefore proclaim that it is the true church -- otherwise, they'd head to the Catholic church that goes back to the apostles -- not some manmade entity!

brr it must be cold to be in a frige group

People who are seeking the truth should read the bible for themselves. There will never be a "perfect' church on earth till Jesus returns.
