your spleen is in that area of your body. It is normal for it to become enlarged if you are fighting of an infection somewhere in your body. That is part of its function, and if enlarged it may hurt, it also is a very pain sensitive organ.

well i have the same problem, but only when i do alot of rough activity but mine is do because i had problems with my liver, it was swollen, i recommend that u take some pain killers for now but as soon as u can go to a doctor!!!! i went to the doctor a lil late n now i have this sharp pain when i do lots of things because my liver was parcially damaged. so get checked!
