What about Charles Lyell, and his theory of uninformationism (earth and its inhabitants have been developed by slow moving forces for millions of years), and the Jean Baptiste Lamarck's, why don't the Christians attack them in addition to Darwin. Is it because they're mad at Darwin for formally renouncing God, or is it because he just is the biggest target, or something completely different? Please explain!

They've never heard of the other guys.
Hell, they barely understand Darwin's premise from what I've seen on this forum. But they have heard his name and have been told he's wrong. So without understanding what they're arguing about...they continue to yap like chihuahuas.

Isn't it about time that we reopened the theory that the earth is not the center of the universe and the earth is not flat? They are just theories, nothing more and nothing less. I prefer that the earth be the center of the universe and that the earth is flat. I believe it, I have faith, I refuse to consider physical evidence. THEREFORE, the earth is flat and is the center of the universe.
