This Mustek looks like a waste of money. This article isn't an objective review but it does list the specs: http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/news/articles/story_5743.html
Based on these specs, four things stand out:
* This camera has no optical zoom - only digital. This means that you only use the full 5-megapixels when you're at maximum wide-angle. When you zoom in, you do so at the expense of resolution. In fact, when you're fully zoomed in, this camera only uses 1.25 megapixels (5 megapixels/ 4x zoom). This isn't enough for decent prints.
* The video mode only records at 320 x 240 pixels. Standard VGA is 640 x 480, and this is bad enough when you view it full screen.
* No mention who makes the lens. The quality of the lens is massively important for image quality and even mediocre brands will proudly state where their optics come from... if they're any good.
* No mention of ISO settings. If a camera doesn't state that it can do ISO 400 or higher, assume that it can't, and that it's completely useless in low light situations.

I'll pop over to your other question to see what I can dig up about the Fuji models.
