i mean, some guy wrote about a second ark geting the animals to australia and other isolated places!and this is what is happening all the time...unbelievable excuses!

It's called desperation. They can't just accept that it doesn't make any sense, because that would shatter their concept that the bible is the perfect word of god. Grasping at straws is kinda fun to watch, though.

The first answer is so much like the scene from Nuns On The Run, where 2 guys are escaping doom by pretending to be nuns. The Catholic guy is trying to explain the Holy Trinity to the Jewish guy, who just doesn't get it. "But it just doesn't make any sense!", he says, to which the Catholic guy responds, "But if it made any sense you wouldn't have to accept it on faith, would you?". God gave us brains and we should use them, not accept everything handed down from the pulpits or from anywhere else for that matter.

cheap excuses are the hallmark of religious argument .
Once one escapes the realm of delusion it becomes obviously clear.
