Shop in Chinatown, SOHO, relax in Grenwich Village, Party in Chelsea, check out the East Village, Williamsburg,

the hourglass restaurant on restaurant row is good, and not too pricey. ESPN zone is fun. if the weather is nice, the red bus ride is good.
plenty of museums (natural history, sex, modern art, etc). it's fun to wander through the village and go into a hangout. same with east or west side.

it's gonna be chinese new year on the 18th feb...& the days leading up to 17th feb will be very vibrant & RED in chinatown...
