It should read:
"Thou shall not kill those people who think and live the same way you do. Everyone else is all right to kill. Especially if they displease Me."

Thou shall not kill is guide in how to live our normal day to day lives. There are other places in the Bible that cover war and punishment. Thou shall not kill has nothing to do with war and punishment.

Because the 10 Commandments only apply to Jews. What it REALLY says is: "thou shalt not kill JEWS." Anyone is fine to kill. If you don't believe me, look up some of the writings of Moses Maimonedes (I may have misspelled his name), a Jewish philosopher from, I think, the middle ages.

are you speaking of war or others killing others. Individual crime was not excepted in the Bible nor was serial killers, but war was. War is the exception. Arminians do not like it, calvinsitsay that if your governing oficials say to do it and God says to do what they say, then we must do what they say since the Bible says to follow under their authority as if we were obeying God.

god allowed killing for things that he condems as sinful or willful disobedience. that is one loud and clear way he proves to us that he hates the way sin hurts us. example- anyone who practiced fortune tellinf, palm reading, horoscopes etc. were to be killed. it's a lie and it deceives the listener who may believe it and it would take us away from the truth. god is jealous for our welfare and seriously hates anything that hurts us now or in the long run. that's why you hear the expression god is love. one reason.

If you can't figure it out, you aren't too bright. If you can, but asked the question anyway, then you're being deceitful.
Which is it?
