the belief of secularism isn't that society could be made out of human beings that are no longer non secular. yet that government establishments and purposes could be break free non secular teachings or techniques. ultimately I believe you yet for a diverse reason that's that secularism is only no longer obtainable. If a individual who purposes in government is a non secular individual then his non secular ideals are guaranteed to impression his behaviors and subsequently impact society as an entire. I of direction do no longer think of that secularism being untenable is an incredible loss. that's a extremely defective appropriate that could bring about dystopia quite of utopia. To think of that faith has only delivered approximately evil and no stable is openly cynical. Mankind by using default is a wicked and imperfect being. Abolishing faith or maybe using an Orwellian theory policing technique to decrease religions impression in a guy, does no longer replace the default. faith on the different hand has been typical to alter the default quite efficiently.

I do what feels right. My Pastor is not a fan of my language or my music,so I respect that and keep it out of his Church.
I will continue to do what I know to be right, and continue to search for the answers that I desire.
God bless you!
I can see where you are coming from about friends though. I've had that happen both because I wasn't good enough, and because I was "too good".

We can't say we weren't warned.
Mathew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Mathew 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
II Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
I Timothy 4:1-3 "But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth."

I'm confused. Based on your question and rant, it still sounds like you care ;)
Christianish answer: Because humans are sinful by nature. Even though some are "saved", they've still got a lot of kinks to work out.
Atheist answer: Humans suck. Get used to it. Have a cookie. ;)

I am appalled that you are even considering yourself worthy of knowing who will be judging whom in the last days. Every day is a test. Can you be the best that you are meant to be every day? Do not pretend to answer yes. You are not here to judge anyone else besides yourself.

I think that most are cultural Christians. As in, they go to church out of habit and they'll check "Christian" on a survey, but they rarely think about the depth of their faith.
