The best thing you can do is exercise. Nothing too strenuous or difficult. For example go take a long walk. If its not too cold. Work out on a treadmill. Any type of aerobic activity will be good. I know it seems like the last thing you want to do. But believe me it helps more then pills and anything else. Since its probably late at night and cold outside. Just walk around your house. Oh and drink plenty of water.

Midol is great. You also need to cut out caffiene and try hot tea. Camilole or green is the best. Take a midol and sip some hot tea...no caffiene. You will feel much better. Sometimes a heating pad on your tummy will help the cramps.

Feel Better!

Honey, It's nothing to be ashmed of evryone goes and if hasn't is going to go though that. Try to heat up your stomach with either a heat bag or something, take a hot bath, do some crunches/sit ups, drink some hot tea. Anything that gets your belly warm. Or take some pain reliver pills, advil, aspirin, or Ibuprofen. I take Ibuprofena and it works. hope I've helped.

Go to the chemist and get a pain killer that is specifically for period cramps, might be embarassing to ask but they do help and you wont be the first girl to ask them for it, chances are there wil be a girl working there so just ask her. Also hot water bottles on ur tummy can help too, if ur up to it light exercise apparently helps, i havent tried it cause its the last thing i feel like doing but could be worth a shot.

Try Midol tablets which you can buy at any drugstore or even in many food stores, also drinking hot liquids can be very calming to the stomach when you're having cramps.

1) Take a Midol.

2) Get a heat wrap and put it around your back/belly.

3) Exercise, it really helps.

Tylenol, ibprofen, midol... anything but asprin will help alot. Drink alot of water, that helps the cramps too. Have you told your mom that you started your "journey to womanhood"? Good luck, it will pass soon enough and you'll be back to normal.

My wife (a bad cramp sufferer) said to take Mydol, it doesn't hurt your stomache and it lasts for most of the day.
