So i have this plan...for over the summer. My friends and i were talking about how much we missed our childhood. And i came up with this idea to play all these kids games over the summer at a local park.

-My plan is to play: Capture the flag - both teams are going to have different colored shirts on right..and instead of tagging people...we would use balloons filled with water

-We were also going to play 4-square, parachute, tug of war, a big game of basketball and dodge ball.-

--i haven't really told my friends about this yet....
I'm kind-of embarrassed and feel they might think it's stupid. If you were 18 and a freshman in college would you think this was a stupid idea? Do you think it's a stupid idea? Tell me what you think before i go and tell them....about it

Would you do this at 18? Should i get rid of any of my ideas? OPINIONS PLEASE!

do you think 4-square is to babyish?
or parachute? Or tug of war? tell me what you think of my ideas PLEASE Thanks :)

Stupid idea? Never!

When I graduated high school, I had a food fight as my graduation party. We made 3 pounds of spaghetti, 2 pounds of cream corn, 16 cans of whipped cream, etc. It was great fun.

Don't think that once you turn 18/19/20 that you need to lose your child-like innocence and excitement!

I think most people would love it because it will remind them of being younger, besides if they don't like it, tell them it will be their workout for the day!

By the way I am 36 and I still play those kinds of things sometimes and I love to play on the monkeybars with my neice and hang upside down with no hands! I climb on the play ground all the time with my neice!

i think this is a wonderful idea. i have friends who are 20 and still do that at picknicks. its a lot of fun and worth the work of preparing it and getting everyone together. durring summer, try renting a small place like a beach house or something, maybe even camp out. it makes the experience even beter.

I don't think it's stupid! I'm sure your friends are also thinking of ways to rekindle how you were then.

Most true friendships are formed during childhood esp. when you guys are still in touch and keeping that friendship until now.

Go ahead and make new adventures together -- camping, hiking, paintball war......Have fun!!!

I think it's an awesome idea, and I think your friends may act like they may not like the idea but they'll show up and play. Have a great time. We do it all the time at family reunions, it's hysterical.

I think it might be fun, it's okay to act like a kid sometimes. It's not like 30 and trying to play those. Sounds like a good time!
