I want to take out my console in my truck and put in a bench seat I would like to know what I would need to do to do so and where to go to do it.

I did the exact opposite you are doing. I took out a 60/40 split bench out and put mustang lx buckets in my ranger just switch over the seat frames. or go to local salvage yard or swap meet to find orig seats and frames.

Yes, you can do that, you just have to drill new holes for the seat, as the holes for the bucket seats won't work with a bench seat. Plus you will have to drill holes for the middle seatbelt anchors.

You just have to find a bench seat that will work with that year of truck and install it. Plug the old holes and install the new seat.

This can be done yourself, with a drill and a few hand tools (i.e. wrenches).

Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem......you'd just have to find a bench seat that is made for that year and model truck....which may be a problem, or if you do find it, it may be expensive.
